Proximate to the Hudson River, the architecture of the new pavilion is dedicated to transparency, to the celebration of extraordinary views and light. Interior and exterior environments are interwoven and Inserted under and between existing buildings, the new entrance unambiguously defines circulation and access to natural light.

A tightly detailed vertical atrium space provides orientation as well as views of the Hudson River and the New York sky. A system of electronically controlled solar vanes tracks the movement of the sun, and in conjunction with climate wall technology, provides a well-tempered interior environment.

The state of the art facilities include a crisp auditorium and generous operating rooms. The carefully planned hospital wing promotes efficiency and a clean but warm aesthetic.
